OmniDock app icon

One native utility for everyday Mac work

OmniDock

Move through your Mac with fewer detours.

Preview and switch windows from the Dock, arrange your workspace, search clipboard history, add Finder actions, and keep the menu bar tidy. OmniDock runs locally on your Mac.

Window switching, your way

Find the window you want, not just the app.

Preview windows from the Dock

Hover over a running app for live or static previews of the windows macOS makes available. Focus one exact window, close it, quit the app, or drag a file onto its preview to raise the destination.

Switch between individual windows

Use Option-Tab for a window-level switcher, or add static previews above the app selected in macOS Command-Tab.

Hide, show, and launch in one action

Click a running Dock app again or assign a per-app shortcut to bring it forward, hide it, or launch it when needed. Repeated clicks can use hide/show or minimize/restore.

More tools for daily Mac work

The small controls macOS leaves scattered, brought together.

Enable only the features that fit your workflow. Each one stays focused, familiar, and close at hand.

Window layouts

Snap and resize Mac windows without breaking focus.

Move the frontmost window with keyboard shortcuts, choose a layout from the green window button, or drop it into a screen zone. Use halves, thirds, corners, multiple displays, or layouts you define yourself.

Clipboard history

Search what you copied, then put it back to work.

Press Command-Shift-C to find copied text, formatted content, links, images, and files. The optional history stays on your Mac and skips temporary or confidential pasteboard entries.

Finder right-click actions

Create a new file or copy its path from Finder.

Enable the Finder extension to add New File, Copy Path, hidden-file controls, and configurable Open With actions in supported local folders. Availability follows the locations macOS exposes to Finder Sync extensions.

Menu bar controls

Hide menu bar icons until you need them.

Hold Command to move less-used icons behind OmniDock's divider. Reveal them with a click, then collapse the section manually or automatically after 5–60 seconds. You decide which icons stay hidden.

Local by design. No account, analytics, advertising SDKs, or third-party packages.
